Just as it takes a lot of pieces to make a quilt, it takes a lot of volunteers to make a great Quilt Show.

As co-chairwomen of the Darting Needles Quilt Guild, Cathy Balliet and Deb Luebke would love to send a sincere thank you to all of the awesome Chairs, Volunteers, Husbands, Staff of Fox Valley Lutheran High School (Bob Becker, Chef Ted and the Custodians and Staff) and Judges - Carol Butzke, Margaret Gawlick, Kathy Doman and Linda Honsberger (Bed Turnings).

We truly appreciate our Vendors who took time out of their weekends, packed up half the store and smiled all weekend AND some who sponsored the “Best Of” ribbons.  You are real gems.

We certainly could not forget our Chairs who have all worked hard in their own time…We owe each and every one of a big hug and probably chocolate, too.

Most of all, we express our appreciation to the Guild Members, families, and the husbands who became “widowers” in the last few weeks before the show.  We all know the hours of work that go into a quilt piecing, quilting and binding to make the deadline of the show.  We most certainly need and appreciate your quilts that make our show so beautiful. 

All in all, after 2 years of work, we know that we couln’t have made the journey alone.  We thank each and every one of you for making this
